• Soondubu @ Light House Tofu & BBQ in MD

  So Amy wanted to go to this korean tofu joint in Rockville. I was up for anything that was good so why not?

  Cuisine:

  mmmm the seafood pancake smelt and looked wonderful.

  
  

  then a pic of a korean spicy noodle dish and the kalbi.

  
  

  the noodles were good, i liked the octopus in it alot, it was very springy and fresh…not old and chewy (not overcooked)

  

  
  

  the bulgogi was run of the mill good.

  kalbi was also run of the mill good.

  i got beef soondubu spicey spicey. it was good.

  

  
  

  It was a great meal that i shared with a bunch of new friends… Everyone had a good time great food, great folks, great fun…oh yeah! take that Mickey D’s!!!!

  
  

  Summation: In all honesty the food was really good. Nothing that really wow’d me, nor was it anything i felt that i couldn’t find in NYC. But upon further ‘investigation’ this is one of the few places in (rockville, MD) that actually serves up good soondubu. As i’ve heard some horror story of other places. I again must be thankful to my network of foodie friends that take me to the best places to eat.
