So Moolgy wanted to take me to her favorite chicken schnitzel place….which was this mom and pop run joint.

    pas2.jpg

Yeah, this place sells out quick of all their chicken products….afterall Geflügel means poultry….

the salat kleins (Salads) were each €1.10 each ($1.43USD)

I got the potato salad, as it was made with pureed pickled yellow onions…they had a mayo version of this, but i stuck strictly to the non mayo version.

the Chicken schnitzel was RIDICULOUSLY good….the crispy skin that was really well flavored accompanied by the juicy moist flavorful chicken inside…my mouth is just watering just thinking about it. I never knew chicken could taste THIS GOOD…and to think it was only €0.80 ($1.04USD)

This was from the two days later, we bought more and put it in the fridge. Even cold (like cold fried chicken) it still rocked…it was still so good.

hand to show you a cold cross section. then i diced it up, we were gonna use it in our omelets that we made later in the week, but the chicken cold or hot just tasted so good by itself like this…

Summation: i think this was totally definitely shway bang for buck…if i ever go back to Vienna, this is definitely one of those must go back to places…the chicken, the salads, the price, and the warm friendliness of the place….What was even better is, this is not some place you’d find in a tourist guide book…this is one of those places that only the locals know about….which made it all the much more worthwhile…a treasure found in the middle of nowhere…Thanks again go to Moolgy for finding such a great place on one of her solo treks out into the ‘wilderness’. WOOT!
