I saw this place a while ago on Tripe D and had liked the food a lot. It wasn’t till Feisty reminded me of the joint again that i had never done a review on it. So it was high time i return to this joint and feeeeeed!!!!
you walk in, you look to the right. You can see all the wonderful salads and meats they have to offer. all of the salads, meats, etc..etc that you see here are made fresh on a daily basis.
look to the left…so much i want to try…yet only so many meals in one day…
look more to the left….whoa i spy some dogs and some knishes!
Frank on a Roll was $3.50…expensive…but worth it…has a really nice snap to it. yum.
Overstuffed Hot Pastrami Sandwich: One of the best i’ve ever had…love love love the fact that its not overly salty…you really don’t need any condiments…but their home made kraut and home made mustard….accompanies this sandwich so well…. $11.95 Summation: I confess i have been dying to try their stuffed cabbage and kreplach…which i think will be happening soon. Once you walk into the joint you know immediately you’ve stepped into an authentic kosher deli. All the food is home made with all original recipes. Very good food. Highly recommend….and definitely hard to keep the waistline slim when this joint is right next to my house…*sigh…WHATEVER! STUFF YO FACE!!! So far this is the second place that Guy Fieri has recommended that i’ve liked a lot (first being Valencia Luncheria) so i think i’ve found the food network star that i find a kinship too. WOOT!
*note: i highly recommend getting grilled onions with the frank on a roll, and definitely get kraut and mustard on the side. soooooo gooooood!
CHEERS!

i would take some meat out of the pastrami sandwich so i can have several sandwiches, haha
Definitely a good price, Katz’s overcharges for the amount they give you. Carnegie on the other hand still delivers the huge awesome ones that you need to take home as leftovers. Do want to try this place though.
@happyobligations - My sister does that!!! She even takes the sausages off combination pizza’s and scrambles them with egg.
Wow, that looks like a very meaty sandwich!
@sassyjessie - how deliciously clever
