| | Had some leftover pad thai cravings, decided to try this place on seamless. was very surprised as they had Beef Pad Thai, which i've never seen at any thai restaurant...and believe you me, i've eaten at a crudload of thai restaurants. ...so much so i don't even remember the names of most of them... "...hello, my name is Azriha...and i am a food-aholic...it's been 1 hour since my last food binge..." i also ordered a side of summer rolls to try them outz. (i hear on the west coast they have a different naming scheme for eggrolls, spring rolls, and summer rolls... ) |

Beef Pad Thai: now i know why they don't have beef pad thai. Holey crap was the beef dry all to hell. way too chewy, and we're not talking about the good kind of dry and chewy. But i must admit, the pad thai was freaking awesome. The sauce was very well tweaked, and again the million ingredients complimented each other very well...$9.95
 | Summer Shrimp Rolls: I felt the skin was too thick, and the sauce for it was a tad too salty. The innards were good and well balanced, but i wouldn't have minded them not being so skimpy on the shrimpage. But if you're into that, then these summer rolls are definitely you're cup of tea. $7.95

Summation: i liked the pad thai alot, but not the beef. This pad thai was better then thai nams. not to mention cheaper...by just a buck...but maybe cause it was beef, i forgot. The summer rolls were ok...i don't recommend them, but if i crave them, i might get them from this place cause i'm somewhat a masochist. I'll definitely be trying the chicken pad thai from this place in the future. Till then, eat hearty! Total (t&t inc): $19.40 |

| It's been over four years since i've ordered from Little Thai Kitchen, and i wanted to try it out again, as i've been having pad thai cravings of late, and i'm always trying to look for cheap but good pad thai. This time it was lunchtime, and i was checking out Seamless, when i found out LTK was having lunch specials...SO WHY NOT?!?!!?

Set Lunch Special w/ Noodle Entrée (Papaya Salad and Shrimp Pad Thai): Food arrived fast, and at the proper temperatures. $11.00 (note, special does not include spring rolls or Thai Iced Tea.)
|
Thai Iced Tea: i liked it. $3.00 | Spring Rolls (2 Pcs.): $3.00

| as you can see, the spring roll had way too much 'wrap' and not really that much filling....and for three bucks, this was way below par....don't order these. =P |

the papaya salad that came with the lunch special looked very poor...but it was good. I'll most likely get this again, cause it was nice and crunchy, proper flavor...but not enough peanuts. The thing about Papaya salad is, i always felt that its a symphony of many ingredients coming together to create a masterpiece...if any ingredient is skimped or poor, the masterpiece breaks down and you're left with a bootleg...which in this case, you got a HD camcorder version of X-men first class. =P

| Shrimp Pad Thai...was good, and i would definitely recommend it. Shrimp was not over cooked and the tails were taken off. I squirted lemon all over it and it enhanced the flavor to another level. I'd definitely say that Little Thai Kitchen is probably still probably best bang for buck in Midtown for Pad Thai. |

Summation: definitely going to try other joints for pad thai, but this place is pretty reliable. I look forward to trying other items on the menu, but will definitely stay away from the spring and summer rolls from this joint.
CHEERS!
