| So Yumi had been telling me how she missed the lamb skewers from the street meat vendors in Flushing...all this time i thought she was talking about the two 'american' vendors on Main street on each side of the church...but low and behold she was talking about the chinese street meat vendors...which to my surprise...i never knew they even did skewers...well color me white and call me a rednick.....not. |

our cook was a cheery fellow, that spoke mostly mandarin, but understood some english. He was talkting to Yumi in mandarin about me. He thought i was white...due to my pale complexion and big eyes...He was startled to find out that i was cantonese. Not to mention he had said Cantonese people are usually small and skinny...however, i was quite the opposite he stated... |

| Cooking - he takes skewers of meat out that are held up and smoked/cooked over hot burning wood briquettes. The smell was enticing and wonderful. While they cook on one side, he uses his gloved hand to sprinkle seasoning and spiciness onto the wonderful looking lamb. Then he turns them and repeats the process till he deems they are ready for our palates. (we got ours spicy, you can get it without spice if you want....*cough cough wussies cough*) |

| Finished product....we ordered six of these, three for her and three for me...at a dollar a pop...you can't go wrong with trying these...they also come in beef and chicken meats. |

Summation: Holey shnikees, these were RIDICULOUSLY good!!!! the intense juiciness, the hot piping right off the grill smokey flavor, and the spicyness just hits you all at once. Twas perfectly cooked, and we totally dogged these. At first i was surprised that Yumi said she could eat 50 of these, but after downing three, i saw what she meant. I highly recommend getting the lamb version, even if you don't like lamb...not a single hint of gameyness whatsoever....*drool...
*Note: Thanks go to Yumi for taking the pics with her camera. woot!
