My Favorite Ramen: Green Tea Ramen
I once bought these on a whim as to try them out and see if they were any good. Oddly enough it was in Maine that i busted one of these out (after i had gotten tired of eating lobster…(yes…its possible to have lobster overload ) And from that day forth, i’ve not eaten any other kind of ramen…
Just got to wait for the water to boil boil boil…
I like to not cook my ramen all the way through.
so its still kinda sticky. it comes with the nori in its packet.
YUM!
sometimes i like to add XO dumplings…sooo gooooooood.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm XO dumplings…
soooooo gooood *tear
Other times, fish balls or cuddle fishballs or beef tendon balls….*droolz….
and a ton of romaine…i love putting romaine hearts in from the beginning…they get so soft and flavorly good at the end of the cooking process.
The romaine also makes the broth so much sweeter…i also add a lot more water and not all of the soup base packet…soooo goooood!Well no matter which way you have it…
Whether with dumplings, or veggies, or fishballs, or cuddle fish balls, or beef tendon balls…the green tea noodles compliment it all really well…
AND NO MSG! WOOT!

Yum. I love my romaine tender, too!
interesting. i wonder if they have it here. is it a japanese thing?
looks great. i never thought of adding romaine to my ramen. i’ll try it sometime.
Does it taste different than normal ramen?
Your pictures elevate the dried ramen to a think of art.
@happyobligations - Paldo is Actually a Korea based Company.
@SarahakaHungry - Yesh, love it so much, the broth becomes so much sweeter, but i only cook the ramen till there’s still a little crisp to it but enough that its absorbed some of the broth.
@SweetNGuilty - Yesh! the noodles are actually made with green tea and chlorella. You can definitely taste it in the noodles (the green tea is not in the broth packet)
@christao408 - Thanks Chief, coming from you that’s quite the compliment, Everytime i look at your pics i get hungry, and there are only a handful of sites that can actually do that. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
@Tom Tang@facebook - Yesh, they do sell them at both HMART and Hanyang Mart. They sometimes sell out really fast. good luck.
man this looks really light and fresh right now.
I can’t even imagine what that tastes like LOL we don’t have green tea anything here.. except the leaves for brewing tea -_- but it sounds and looks delicious!
